Lauren Speerhas has worked in higher education for over 13 years with experience in new student initiatives for undergraduate enrollment, professional advising, and student success and retention, including serving as the associate director of the center for student success at Robert Morris University. In her current role as a Client Success Director for Othot, she supports colleges and universities in leveraging predictive analytics to achieve their enrollment, retention, and graduation goals.

Jonathan E. Shores, Jr., Ph.D.

Jonathan E. Shores, Jr., Ph.D., CMSgt (retired) in the United States Air Force, serves as Regional Vice President at Liaison International, where he partners with colleges and universities across the U.S. and Canada to strengthen enrollment, retention, and student success strategies. Dr. Shores has served in higher education for over 29 years. Most recently, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Enrollment Officer at the University of the Cumberlands, where he provided leadership and oversight of enrollment planning, recruitment, admissions, the Registrar’s Office, and Institutional Research. Under his leadership, the university achieved historic enrollment growth from 16,500 students to 25,000 in just two and a half years, reaching 10-year goals in record time. In addition to his leadership roles, Dr. Shores continues to give back in the classroom by teaching marketing. He has published or presented at more than 150 journals or conferences since entering higher education and was awarded more than a dozen honors and decorations during his military career.

Todd Abbott is a higher education leader with 28 years of experience. As a Vice President at Liaison, he partners with colleges and universities to strengthen their enrollment operations and achieve their strategic goals. His expertise spans enrollment, marketing, and student retention, including leadership roles on campus and in the industry. A former Dean of Enrollment, Todd champions data-informed strategies that prioritize student success and institutional growth.
