Jonathan E. Shores, Jr., Ph.D.
Regional Vice President, Liaison
Jonathan E. Shores, Jr., Ph.D., CMSgt (retired) in the United States Air Force, serves as Regional Vice President at Liaison International, where he partners with colleges and universities across the U.S. and Canada to strengthen enrollment, retention, and student success strategies. Dr. Shores has served in higher education for over 29 years. Most recently, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Enrollment Officer at the University of the Cumberlands, where he provided leadership and oversight of enrollment planning, recruitment, admissions, the Registrar’s Office, and Institutional Research. Under his leadership, the university achieved historic enrollment growth from 16,500 students to 25,000 in just two and a half years, reaching 10-year goals in record time. In addition to his leadership roles, Dr. Shores continues to give back in the classroom by teaching marketing. He has published or presented at more than 150 journals or conferences since entering higher education and was awarded more than a dozen honors and decorations during his military career.

Mike Perry
Executive Director of Admission, Florida Tech
Mike Perry is the current Executive Director of Admission at Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, FL. He has worked in Enrollment Management for the last 31 years and has held the titles of Admission Counselor, Assistant Director of Admission, Associate Director of Admission, and Director of Undergraduate Admission. He was promoted to Executive Director of Admission and is responsible for all on campus enrollment at the undergraduate and graduate level. Additionally, Mike received his commission through ROTC at Florida Institute of Technology in 1988. He served 31 total years in the United States Army and the Florida Army National Guard including multiple deployments overseas and in country. He retired from the Army National Guard on 30 June 2019 as a full Colonel. Mike Perry’s education consists of a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management with Flight from Florida Institute of Technology and a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College. He and his wife Katie Perry, a clinical audiologist, also reside in Melbourne Beach with their sons Alex and Mark.

Chris Rose
Client Success Director, Liaison
Chris Rose has over 17+ years working in higher education, currently, as a client success director with Liaison, directly working with the Othot product solution, for 5+ years. Chris works with partnership institutions managing the full account lifecycle from onboarding and implementation to training and value-driven strategic and tactical sessions. Prior to his current role, he spent 11+ years in higher education in various leadership roles in enrollment management and career services. In his spare time Chris enjoys coaching youth sports, golfing, spending time with family and cheering on ALL Pittsburgh sports teams.
