What could your institution do with an IMPACT Grant?

The Liaison IMPACT grant is an employee-funded initiative dedicated to helping our customers support the success of their students and drive better outcomes on their campuses.

In 2023, we are awarding several grants, ranging from $5,000 to $20,000.

Building a campus food pantry from the ground up, in collaboration with campus departments and community partnerships.

Building a Collaboration Space that ensures historically underserved students have access to high-impact learning practices and collaboration opportunities.

Supported students in emergency situations who needed resources for course materials, car repairs, and tuition payments

Supported low-income, first-generation, first-year colleges students through their Jump Start Program, providing selected students with technology needed to be successful in their classes

Supported the Student Emergency Fund, providing funds for the school’s emergency food pantry, scholarships for students facing a crisis, and other emergency situations

2023 IMPACT Grant Application Process

Eligibility

Deadline to apply is April 7, 2023 at 11:59pm ET

  • Eligible applicants are current Liaison clients in good standing. Client must have a direct contract with Liaison, Othot, or TargetX (excludes Association CAS customers).
  • The grant must be used for programs that positively impact the student experience and outcomes on your campus.
  • Official Decision Announcement - Forthcoming (customer will be notified in advance to prepare for the acceptance).

Criteria

To be considered for this grant, your project must be used to positively impact the student experience and outcomes on your campus. We encourage projects that:

  • Impact historically underserved or underrepresented student communities/populations.
  • Take an innovative approach to increasing student engagement, improving the student experience, and/or driving better student outcomes.
  • Are repeatable and sustainable.

Guidelines

If selected:

  • Liaison can use your institution’s name in marketing materials and social media.
  • Liaison can use your institution’s image/logo in marketing materials and social media.
  • Your institution will provide an impact update by: date forthcoming
    • Impact update should include
      • a brief summary of how funds were used
      • an accounting summary of funds spent
      • how unspent funds will be used in the future
    • Photos, videos, and/or student statements are strongly preferred.
  • A representative from your institution will present at the 2023 event to accept the award and at the 2024 event to provide an update on the impact of the funds.
